About us
With over 30 years of experience offering whale-watching tours off the coast of Andøy, we are committed to giving our guests an exceptional experience. Our two brands, Whalesafari Andenes and Whale2Sea, combine whale watching with scientific research on these magnificent animals.
In 2023, the two leading whale-watching brands in Andøy, Vesterålen, began merging into a single company, becoming Norway’s top provider of whale-watching experiences. The oldest, Whalesafari Andenes, started operations in 1989, while Whale2Sea was founded in 2010 and established its research department in 2020 under Dr. Tiu Similä.
Get to know us, we're honest and lovable!
All crew members have the necessary certificates to ensure your safety and that of the wildlife around Andenes.
ADMINISTRATION
CREW
Each of our RIBs is equipped with two 250-horsepower outboard engines, providing both speed and stability. Each boat can accommodate up to 12 passengers. To ensure a comfortable ride, our RIBs feature hydraulic seats that reduce unnecessary pressure on your back—an added benefit for those with limited leg mobility or back issues.
