With an impressive wingspan of up to two meters and its striking white plumage, the gannet is one of Northern Europe's most majestic seabirds. This colony is a vibrant gathering of these elegant birds in their natural habitat, surrounded by dramatic coastal landscapes.

Gannet is a large, streamlined bird with long narrow wings. The typical yellow head is easily recognizable in adult birds (4-6 years). The gannet is renowned for its spectacular plunge dives. From great heights, it dives with precision into the ocean in search of fish – an awe-inspiring sight for anyone lucky enough to witness it. Along the way, you may also spot other iconic seabirds, and if you're fortunate, catch a glimpse of whales, as well as curious seals poking their heads above the water.
