An environmentally friendly way to travel to Andenes is by using a combination of train and bus or ferry. • BY CAR OR BUS
  You can drive all the way to Andenes from anywhere in Vesterålen, Lofoten and Tromsø! All though there are several bus connections to Andenes from different locations in Vesterålen and Lofoten it may not be possible to come and leave on the same day. Weekends have less options and there are less scheduled departures during school holidays. It means you may have to plan your trip around the bus departures and perhaps you need to add a stop-over in Andenes. Find bus transport

• BY PLANE
  You can fly directly to Andenes from Bodø, Tromsø or Evenes with SAS-Widerøe whole year round. During the summer, you can also fly directly from Oslo to Andenes with Norwegian.

• BY BOAT
  You can reach Andøy through Hurtigruten or Havila, which has a port of call in Risøyhamn, at the south of the island. You can also arrive directly to Andenes by ferry from Gryllefjord in Senja, which is connected to Tromsø by bus and ferry from May to September.
