Join us for an unforgettable experience!
Experience the spectacular whales with M/S Reine, our traditional large boat and a symbol of Northern Norwegian coastal culture.
We have over 30 years of experience in offering whale watching and we do our utmost to give our customers a wonderful nature experience. The area off Andøy is rich in nutrients and an attractive food dish for 10 whale species throughout the year. Several species are here all year round, and it is a short way out to see the whales.
Our two brand; Whalesafari Andenes and Whale2Sea combine whale watching and research on these wonderful animals. Our guides are highly trained, and are skilled communicators about the whale species, their social life and much more. Both the captain and guides are also highly trained in safety and will take good care of you as a guest! On board you will be served coffee, tea and biscuits.
Our peak summer season is for 2025, from June to September. If you want to experience the midnight sun, she is in Vesterålen from 23rd of May to 23rd of July. For trips out of season, these will vary - see the calendar for available trips or contact us directly by email for questions.
Included in the ticket you can visit our brand new whale exhibition. Here you can experience, among other things, three large whale skeletons. We also have regular lectures in the Whale Center about the ongoing research, and showing images from todays trip at 5 pm every day. The exception is when the researchers have a weekly meeting. Please ask us in advance if you are interested in our lectures.
Registration upon arrival at our Whale Centre, here we have an exclusive souvenir shop, café and whale exhibition.

WILDLIFE
Remember, whales are wild animals! While we have a very high success rate for whale sightings, we cannot guarantee that the whales can be seen on every trip. BUT if the boat does not find any cetaceans you have the possibility to have a new trip for free on the first available tour, or any time in the future.
